About Us
Our journey started with a simple question: Could kids learn about great artists as pen pals?
Hi! My name is Olga, and I am the art educator, mom, and the founder of the Art Minutes project. This idea of connecting children with art in a personal way grew from my lifelong love of art and nurtured through my studies in art, architecture and 3D design. During the pandemic, I rediscovered this passion and wanted to share it with my son, turning dry art history facts into a playful journey through art.
I struggled to find kid-friendly art history activities. So I created one. 
What if kids could receive a letter from Van Gogh or Monet?
That’s how Art Minutes was born — educational and playful sets in the form of personal letters from artists, delivered to children by mail. Beautifully crafted and kid-friendly, these lessons bring artists’ life stories and work to life in a way that feels real, personal, and full of wonder.
Today, the Art Minutes project unites children and parents, helping to engage kids with art. They are introduced to the fascinating lives of artists through play, letters, and creativity.
What we have already done:
Conducted over 100 online classes and art quests in groups and individually- Held live lessons in schools (Wonder Heritage, Domik)
- Sent 50+ letters with tasks and surprises by mail
- Prepared electronic quests for family time
“When I was a child, my favorite things weren’t dolls or building blocks – but boxes of old art postcards. I would spend a long time looking at the faces in the portraits, imagining that Monet was writing to me from the banks of the Seine, that Van Gogh was inviting me to paint in his garden. Back then, it seemed to me that paintings could talk. From childhood, this world was a part of my life: my father was an artist, and the house was full of art albums, biographies, and conversations about the great masters.”
